Homosassa River and Crystal River Scalloping

It looks like Homosassa took a small hit from tropical storm Debby with some high water in some areas but with Scallop season opening in a week and the big moon tides it should flush the river out and push the Scallops to the south or north of the Homosassa River and Crystal River. I would start my adventure in the 5 to 8 feet of water and work my way deeper till the water starts getting clearer and you start finding them. I will post a report on July 1st or 2nd on how we did.

Capt. Jim Lemke
